By creating an account or using VentraMind ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("ToS"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Continued use after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Description of Service
VentraMind is an AI-powered HVAC troubleshooting assistant. It provides general guidance based on uploaded manuals, web search results, and AI-generated responses. The Service is provided "as is" for informational purposes only.
3. Permitted Use
You may use the Service to:
- •Ask HVAC troubleshooting questions and receive AI-generated guidance.
- •Upload images of HVAC equipment for visual reference.
- •Use voice input for hands-free operation.
- •Access your conversation history and weather data.
4. Prohibited Use
You may not:
- •Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or dangerous activity.
- •Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the Service or its AI models.
- •Upload malicious content, viruses, or code designed to harm the system.
- •Impersonate another user or misrepresent your identity.
- •Use the Service to provide licensed professional advice (e.g., as a substitute for a licensed engineer's sign-off).
- •Share your account credentials with others.
- •Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service at scale.
5. AI-Generated Content — Important Disclaimer
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. AI-generated content:
- •May be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
- •Does not constitute professional engineering, legal, or safety advice.
- •Should always be verified against official manufacturer documentation.
- •Must not be relied upon as the sole basis for critical HVAC decisions.
You are solely responsible for verifying any AI-generated information before acting on it. HVAC VentraMind is a tool to assist trained professionals — not a replacement for professional judgement, manufacturer specifications, or applicable codes and regulations.
6. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (messages, images). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, and transmit it solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models.
7. Liability Limitation
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- •The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- •We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
- •We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.
- •Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (currently $0 for free/demo users).
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to: violation of these terms, abusive behaviour, or extended inactivity. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless legal retention is required.
9. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes that affect your use of the Service.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration body in your jurisdiction. You waive any right to participate in class-action lawsuits.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VentraMind operates. Any legal action must be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via in-app notification or email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last revised.
